What is the Stepamily Stress Index (SSI)?

The SSI* is a 140 item multiple-choice inventory that:

• identifies the major stress sources in your stepfamily,
• reveals how you personally experience and express these stressors, and
• assesses the resources available to reduce the stressors identified.

The SSI instantly provides a printable report that:

• explains each of the areas assessed,
• shows how your results compare to others living in a stepfamily setting, and
• offers a range of suggestions for addressing each of the areas of concern.
